The Finance and Accounting team is responsible for working with business leaders to drive long-term and short-term forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting as well act as a partner to the business in driving growth and leading key initiatives.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Process optimization in forecasting & reporting and the ability to manage and forecast cash usage
Developing and monitoring key performance indicators
Communicating financial results (actual, budget, forecast) to the company and investors
Partner with the business leaders and budget owners to drive long-term and short-term planning for Operating Expenses, along with performing the variance analysis of actuals to forecast/budget
Work with Accounting and Treasury to streamline and automate processes
Partner with the head of Finance Planning & Analysis to drive operating rhythms for planning session and play a key role in understanding actual performance relative to the budget and forecast
Measure and monitor departmental performance using established KPIs as well as look to develop additional ways to measure business performance
Play a key role in the incentive compensation process as it relates to commissions
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree; Finance, Accounting or Economics a plus but not required
1-3 years of experience within FP&A or other finance divisions
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Tableau and database/data warehouse skills desirable
Highest standards of integrity, accuracy, and are highly organized and self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
You have the ability to think creatively and are naturally curious
